We still have a balance of 600 pesos or $31.716 in our Water Bill. I am the one who earned the 500 pesos and we still have 100 pesos to make the count. I asked my second Brother for his additional 100 pesos for his 150 pesos. And still, he doesn't want to add. We had a fight this morning because how he talks to me. He is very rude and arrogant. I explained to them (with his wife) that they are the one who mostly consumes the water because they have their food business, plus they allow their kids to take a bath on their own and most of the time took time to bath. Plus whenever they wash their clothes it took two days for them. But the wife still doesn't want to understand. They denied this issue. What's wrong with these people? When in fact since they have their own food business meaning they have money. They should be the one to give a much share. While I and my Mother is sick, plus siblings who live with us don't have a regular job.

it is difficult to stay in one house, with a sibking who is unmindful of the bills to pay.

I believe that, but my second Brother is not living with us. They have their own household which is near to our house.

@JustBhem but they should pay their share of your house bills, right? if they are using, they should give their share. i think it is as simple as that.

Hope this issue resolved soon fairly and squarely. As a business owner (food especially) with children too, yes, I think they are likely to use lots of water.

@JustBhem If I were in their shoes, I wouldn't believe you either. . Someone I know always reminds me that, 'it is a world in which dogs eat dogs!' Your brother and his wife will bluff to eternity if need be to keep the money in their pocket. The world admires that sort of wisdom and cunning.

That is not fair from your second brother and his wife. They must have a separate watch for their water usage. My dad is tricky when using a lot of water. He can work with his hands, so he managed somehow to cancel the watch that measure the water usage, so he could use water as much as he wants without the watch moving at all. (I wish someone will tell the town authority about that, if dad gets on my nerves, maybe I will...)

@JustBhem In our garden, the watch that measures the water usage can be disconnected from the main pipe that leads water to our house. So, disconnecting it means to shut down the water to the house. What does my dad do ? He disconnects that watch and connects a simple garden pipe and waters the swimming pool as much as he wants. The counter doesn't counts the usage that way. :-) My tricky dad also somehow passes the electricity watch when using electricity to make the garden bath tub hot (jacuzzi). I personally don't like his tricks and I tend not to use those luxuries...

they are "protecting" their earnings, but don't feel responsible for the increase in water consumption. so inconsiderate. the solution is to have separate water meters, but that's easier said than done.

@JustBhem maybe you can research and inquire first (online) how to request for a separate water meter to have an idea about the process, requirements and cost

I ask them to do that but they won't listen instead, they will tell me they can have their own. So if that's the case they should start having their own water, right?

Sorry to say that but your brother is not a kind and fair person. Can't you kick him out?

I cannot kick him out. Why? Because he is not living with us. He lives near our house.

Your brother should understand it. How can he be so rude when he and his family is the one who consume more water.

That is why I am asking him about that. He should pay the remaining because his Family is the one who consumed a lot of water.
