I have been up for quite a while. Watched religious programming on television, made coffee and some breakfast. Today I am cooking a turkey for hubby and I. He needs to work on the insurance stuff. I promise I will be back later. No heavy wind right now, and I am thankful.

Sounds like a busy day for you both. Insurance things can be pretty stressful. Is it a small turkey or a big one like you eat as a family on Thanksgiving?

It is about sixteen pounds. We love turkey and will enjoy it now, and with family another one on Thanksgiving.

I don't like the wind anymore, either. Too many power outages. I hope you and your hubby have a nice restful day.

@GardenGerty I'm going to have to start all over with my paperwork at the doctor's, not looking forward to it. Not that there aren't worse things.

It is done and we shall eat at least some of it tonight. We had leftovers at noon. Hubby was not too happy with how the Packers were doing, last I heard.

Today we about blew off the playground at recess, but the temperatures are mile enough (50 ish) that kids want to wear shorts and take off their jackets.

We eat turkey several times a year when we can get a good price. This is just for us to portion out for meals as we will not bring leftovers home from my brother's house.

It was really whistling in the door frames and heat vents when I got up yesterday.

We had a lot of wind on Saturday. It seems not too bad today, so it is just a regular Monday. I have the trash out already to be picked up.

I am waiting for him to get started on filing the claim and he is postponing. doing the hard part. This is an extra turkey, because it is good quality protein, for 67 cents a pound.

We have strong winds and heavy rain here today. Turkey sounds good. We are having roast pork today.

That sounds quite good too. I have a pork loin roast in the freezer that I will fix in the new year.
