Flecks of dirt and Christmas tree pine needles!

My husband works in retail, more specifically, Lowes Home Improvement. He does a lot of work in the plant nursery which entails moving plants and bags of dirt on a regular basis. Now, as the Christmas Season is upon us, they have just received a bunch of live Christmas trees that require transferring from delivery truck to the area in the store where the trees get displayed for the shoppers to buy. Every time I do laundry and wash his work pants, I must never forget to check his pants pockets, because every single time, I have to hold his pants over the garbage can and turn his pockets out and each time a good amount of dirt will fall out of this pockets and now just today, not only did dirt fall out, but Christmas tree pine needles fell out too. Even after I washed his pants, a few pine needles clung to the sides of the washing machine. His work laundry is more complicated than the rest of the laundry.

He may also get resin from the trees on his trousers.

Yep, that was my first thought too. Great minds (occasionally) think alike.

And most likely more dirt and pine needles will come. Perhaps you should first shake out his pants in the yard.

Ah yes. Soon I will be making the little Christmas trees I make for kid clients and friends every Christmas. There will be sap and pine needles everywhere. Interesting daily life post! By the way, I'm off to Lowes or Home Depot today to get a new wire stripper. The gremlins got both of mine.
