Its been a long time that I didn't tasted this chocolate rice porridge that was part of my childhood food. So when I learned there was store selling champorado I went to buy this favorite snack food of my childhood days. It taste so good. The main ingredients include the glutinous or as we call it diket, cocoa powder or pulverized cacao seeds, milk or coconut milk and of course the sugar. Filipinos main food is rice and from rice come different food that include delicacies, congee, meal and snacks like this chocolate rice porridge. Photo is mine.

kabsat, this is a super-duper close up of the champorado you have had. i like champorado especially now that it is raining once again here in my place, but i haven't tried eating this with fried dried fish like 'tuyo'.

I love rice pudding but I don't make it as Vince doesn't like it. Perhaps I should make some just for me.
