Its been a long time that I didn't tasted this chocolate rice porridge that was part of my childhood food.
So when I learned there was store selling champorado I went to buy this favorite snack food of my childhood days.
It taste so good.
The main ingredients include the glutinous or as we call it diket, cocoa powder or pulverized cacao seeds, milk or coconut milk and of course the sugar.
Filipinos main food is rice and from rice come different food that include delicacies, congee, meal and snacks like this chocolate rice porridge.
Photo is mine.

That's my favorite snack too. I love making them in rainy days. I also want tuyo to go with my champorado

@ilocosboy It's good because the tuyo is salty and champorado is sweet

This is a favorite of mine as well!
I also eat this with something salty to cut the sweetness.

kabsat, this is a super-duper close up of the champorado you have had.
i like champorado especially now that it is raining once again here in my place, but i haven't tried eating this with fried dried fish like 'tuyo'.

@ilocosboy yes, of course, I can but I am not craving for it. I have to eat the sweet potatoes first.
