Have you ever had one of those days when you look at something or hear a song and you are reminded of a special someone that is gone and realize how much you miss them? It might be someone that you loved so much that is missing and no longer there? It could be a mate, a parent, a child, or a friend? Thanks for the memories! Are you missing someone?

I have not many relatives left, but I try to look forward to the resurrection, when I hope to see them again..

Yes I have felt that way with a lot of friends and relatives. Knowing they are gone for good is really sad.

Yes, it is very sad when these feelings come up. At least we have some good memories to soothe us.

Yes, I am missing my Mom right now. She had a stroke last Saturday and she is now in a comatose state. I miss to talk with her as I did every day for the past 41 years.

Yes I think it's common for certain songs to remind me of certain people. My late grandfather used to like listening to me playing La Cumparsita on the piano so that song has never failed to remind me of him.

Just this morning, I missed my husband. I am not feeling well and I remembered him preparing breakfast during times that I do not feel well. I miss his presence belong I am longing for somebody to lean on whenever I have problems.. It is difficult if you have no partner in life. the love of the children is different from the love from a husband...

Yes, there are different loves. Since my divorce, I have been alone for 17 years. There are moments when loneliness hits hard. But love is more than being with someone.

I always enjoyed the Partridge Family. David is going to be missed. However, I've never missed anyone that much who has already passed. And there are a few in my life in recent years who are gone from my life.

I got many reminiscences like this to talk about. Whenever I listen to certain songs or visit some places I recollect and immerse myself in the memories of my past and they start invade me one after the other. So, to avoid this I generally do not remain alone. I always keep myself busy doing something or the other. I also avoid visiting certain places and smells and perfumes even.

There seems to be something particular about songs that stir the feelings. It must be because music is a massage of the heart.

No-one in particular. The ones I've lost - it was their time to go so while I have happy memories of times shared, I'm not sure if I really miss them or not. I guess I do if I think about it.
