Good Morning Tuesday

And a wonderful morning it is! I woke during the night to a wonderful sound, so loud that it did wake me. I do have this problem but I don`t complain much about, complaining does not help, and I have had the problem for so many years that I deal and move on. I have a bad back and neck, bulging disc. They will come out and give me pain and then go back in and I feel relief. I do not take any pain medication and if it gets bad enough I go to the Chiropractor. One of the bones in my neck came out the other day, sometime in the middle of the night it went back in, it was so loud that it did wake me but I knew what it was because the pain was gone. I do thank God this one slipped back in. And there is one thing I have been wanting and I think I will treat my self to and that is the teeter, its a device you lay in and hang upside down. It uses gravity to do the same thing the doctors office does when you get strapped on the decompression table. They are a couple hundred but I am sure in time it`ll pay for itself. I wish everyone a wonderful day! I know mine sure will be a good one, especially at work.

I prefer to see a chiropractor, not fond of those machines.

I don`t have insurance so I cannot afford to go as much as they want me to come. Plus I don`t have the time.

My sisters ex used to use one of those things to help stretch his back that was damaged by a car falling on him or something like that while he worked in a car repair shop.

I've seen those machines and wondered if they would do any good-I have a slipped disc also, they sure can be painful when they come out.

Especially in my upper back or neck. Mine are the ones right above the, what I call the knot, as the neck changes into the back and just below it.

If it works for you, and it sounds like it might, I would say it was well worth the cost.

That's really good that your disc popped back in. It would be good if the teeter was useful with your problem.

That is amazing. I am sorry you have that problem. I do agree that taking pain pills is not the best answer. I stay away from them as much as possible.

I'm glad you are anticipating a good day despite your issues. I have pain that I guess has become chronic. I have continuing neck and back pain also. I had kyphoscoliosis surgery when I was 53. It was to preserve organ function rather than solve my pain, and in that regard at least it has turned out well. I've never had a bone wake me up, I'm glad to say lol. That sounds alarming, but I'm glad it was going back in! We're doing our weekly grocery shopping this morning. We get there earlier than most people, I don't think we'll run into too many Thanksgiving shoppers. The only thing I have to get today for the holiday feast is the drinks, yay! We're getting one of those Raley's dinners and then variuos people are bringing pies and bread. My daughter is making her special mashed potatoes. We just want a nice low key day, not working all day long. I hope your workday goes smoothly.

I don't claim to understand all this but I know my younger brother has this same problem. Several years back he was working on a tractor that slipped off the jacks it was on. The wheel of the tractor landed on his neck and rolled down and stopped at his lower back. He has many issues in his neck with pinched nerves and his spine is a complete mess. At times from the pain and his work he can pass out from the pain and not even know he has done this. I feel for you and I'm glad it decided to slop back in place for you.

@andriaperry The man my brother was working with on the tractor was the owner of the tractor. When it vell it killed him. This was such a sad accident and it left my bbrother a wreck for years. I'm so sorry about your accident and I had one with my arm and it was badly broken at the shoulder and fractured in 4 places. Now and then where it was broken will pinch a nerve in my neck and it feels like my arm is sleeping and hard to move. I'm glad the disk went back in your neck and I hope you can find a way to get this fixed. For my brother it is too damaged and if they try to fix his problem he can be paralized for the rest of his life. He is like you and just lives with the pain and he hates taking anything for it.

Whoa! I fell on a slick boat ramp, feet went up and I landed on my upper back and neck. I spent a year getting my back re-aligned. I was in a wreck a couple years ago and since I am having problems again.
