Yepper Then it happens By the time Christmas comes around that day will be a little longer then it was on the 22nd. No wonder the Celts celebrated the winter solstice, I mean who likes short days? Yes, I took that photo of Ally back in December 2011.

I do not like "too short days", but I hate to have light in the evening until 10 PM in summer.

I agree with you, if they leave this time change as it through out the year then we'd have dusk at an earlier time but the fools always want to tamper with the time.

I hate the short days in the winter especially since these days I don't like t drive after dark. I do drive, but I don't like it.

I like to drive but not in heavy traffic, I haven't driven at nite in a long time so I'm not sure if I would be uncomfortable.

I dislike short days, but for some reason, we always have 30 minutes more sunlight in Florida than we do in CT.

Now you've got me wondering @DianneN How close is the part of FL you'll be in to the equator? That's bound to have an affect on the length of daylight

@rebelann I get up the same time almost every day. The sun sets later there than in CT. It probably rises later, too, but I'm usually out cold. lol
