U was abut 7 when the crcus cam lto tow I'was fascinated witht the Orlandos a famiy of tight rope walker. I really wanted to lean how to do that. I stored awayall the little gilr acrobats moves 'and decided I needed topractlice. She looke abut age and walkecd across the tlight rope holdng a pretty parasaol. I had a pretty parasol. I was a resourceful kid nit asking fr hlep, I tied'a rope acrss from my sing tree to another tree' abut fve geet or more to ajoter tree Oh my how to get up.I got tye sall step ladder, ' So i climbed otoi the taut rope withy poaasal'and tookone step crash the roppe broke and I went sailing down ontoi' the step ladder. Ouch ouch I lie tere and called for heko mtkeg was hurting so bad. My grandpa Richey foung me and carred me'into the house.y angry paretns took me to he ?ER where my leg was x rayed.: My dad:Patsie you broke your ankle so we have to keep you home.Dont ever do tat afain." He was noit one fr sypoathy but my mom 'supplied all I needed. My parents were noit a bit happ ywith me my eacher' was niot happy with me, and IL was not happy as I'oved school. I gad a lot of homework to do so I wold ot be wen I could walk agan. My gradpa Richey was my go to person who helped me to do my my homework. My dad would take it to y teacher who graded it'then sent me more.Tat second grease I aced iin spite of n y ankle..Ten in he third garde I was skpped a grade and agaiun the fifth grtade I w as skioppedto Juioor hig school Needless to sayI never tred again to tight rope walk.But I had more adventures as a farm kild with no playmates and eing a tom boy. You sound like my mom. She was so adventurous. Broke arms from climbing trees and such.

Oh dear, what a shame your tight-rope walking came to such a sad end. I had great fun growing up on our farm too.
