I can't go to Walmart without spending money!

I don't know how anyone could manage to go to Walmart, two days before Thanksgiving and 3 days before well, you know, Black Friday! and not spend a little money. I kept telling myself, "Save your money. You might be able to get that new lap top you want so bad, but no, you had to buy snacks, beverages, and yes, more snacks, not only at Walmart, but at Tom Thumb and Kroger." I feel like kicking myself for spending 75 dollars in the past week just out of impulse. I need to get a grip. It's gonna be alright, I have to tell myself. I will put more away next pay check. I have to not give in to impulse shopping especially during the holidays. I wonder where I can go get a bottle of that Reece's Peanut Butter Chocolate flavored International Delight they have been advertising on television lately? I know, Walmart, of course!

I do also. It is a pretty good drive to Walmart so I want to make sure I get the goods I need so as not to forget something I might need later.

@Courtlynn , Cool. I like buying clothes. I would like to buy out the entire men's department if I was rich. But I would have to buy a new house with plenty of closet space. LOL

If earning money means you cannot spend the money, what's the point of working hard to earn the money. Don't feel guilty for spending YOUR money. You just have to make sure that you have put aside some in your saving.

@lookatdesktop I understand what you mean. Just make sure to not bring your debit card and just bring enough cash to pay for what you need to buy.

@UmiNoor , I have done that and even then, I tend to spend. LOL. Good idea though and I appreciate you for giving this sound advice.

I feel guilty because I don't have a lot of money and it is so easy to spend it all in that store in one day.

@carebear29 , I really like it when I get there early before the afternoon rush hour. The store is much more pleasant and I don't feel rushed by other shoppers then.

So, you too are a Frequent shopper at Walmart? Well, it's okay. I do it so you should too.

I think it is very common for us to consume some money when we go to the supermarket. As long as you don't spend money in a wrong way, I think it is alright. After all, you will feel happy when you go out shopping

Just like me whenever I go to mall or department store. The money is like always telling me to spend them away.

Idem, same here. Walmart is evil, they know how to make you spend money.

Well, in a manner of speaking evil is a bit extreme a word but indeed it is often like becoming hypnotized when walking into a store that huge that has zillions of items ready for you to buy with the slide of a card and the impulse to do this is even worse on black friday, today, the day after thanksgiving. LOL

I went today just because I was bored and had nothing to do. I am home on Thanksgiving break and everyone I know is at work or still at school and I don't have many friends at home. I ended up buying some knee-high socks that I have to return because my calf is too big for them and a pair of white tights to wear under my dresses.

Cool. Good to be able to actually find something that really fits. They have so many sizes and the size I am looking for is fairly easy to find but still I have to do some looking.

@lookatdesktop I have a hard time finding socks or shoes that go over my calves because they are so big. Even the wide calf boots never seem too be wide enough.
