Mosquitoes are quite annoying and it is common to see them anywhere. However, in Iceland there are no mosquitoes at all. It is the only one country without mosquitoes. How nice it is

Many of the diseases are spread by mosquitoes only so they may be free from those.

Yehey... let's go to Iceland.... Maybe because mosquitoes are afraid to be frozen that's why they don't go to Iceland.

Wow, I didn't know that, and find it very interesting. I looked it up and scientist don't know why. They have many speculations but not a solid reason. I hate mosquitoes, and thankfully they don't like me that much either.

Perhaps the mosquitoes can't laid eggs into the water there since it will become ice easily.

Hopefully the climate changes taking place all over the planet won't change things for Iceland as far as not having mosquitoes. I found this article a good one that supports your discussion and validates it further.
Entomologist Erling Ólafsson is surprised that mosquitoes have neither settled in Iceland nor the Faroe Islands while they exist in the island states’ neighboring countries. There is no definite explanation as to why these two countries remain mosquito-fre
