Stand up for yourself.

Are you that person who feels unable to speak up and offer your opinion? Do you generally go along with what others have to say even if you feel you may have a different point of view. Do you accept every assignment and requests from colleagues at work to take on tasks. Is it to hard to say a firm no to their requests or are you ready to be used by everyone. We are taught to be agreeable, polite and accomodative. Many of us find it hard to be able to express our honest thoughts and feelings in an effective way. Do you have a problem with standing up for yourself and knowing when to back down.

I've stood up for myself a few times. It's always possible to say "no" politely.

I usually accepts some light favors if it`ll not affect my own job but of course if I see that my working friends is abusive then I`ll make it the last time and talk to him or her personally on break time

@nangayo I prefer not just saying No but explaining to them that they are being abusive and only thinking of their own and not others

Some friends just take advantage of others this makes us stand up for ourselves and say No before they get out of hand.

It also depends. There are those who just want one to be their slave this is the time we learn and tell them No before they go too far.

You should always learn to say No if you don't feel like saying yes to any request or offer. It is okay to be kind to someone just know not to be abused with your kindness. :)

Yes there are some people who take advantage of you when they notice you are too soft. The more reason why you should be brave3 and tell them No.
