One Happy Bug and Two Unhappy Bugs

Oh, dear. I have two insects who are spreading the word that I am guilty of discrimination. .A friendly black spider has been living in our basement, and he is a very nice spider, but he does creep me out, so I moved him outdoors this morning. I did spot a stink bug inside the house yesterday, and I did remove him due to the possibility of this stink bug emitting a stink if accidentally squished by a human foot. I allowed the bug in the photo to stay. That bug does not creep me out, and if accidentally stepped upon, that bug would not stink up the house. I do expect that the spider and the stink bug will be protesting outside my house with their spider buddies and stink-bug buddies. I am hoping the media is not alerted to the demonstration if it occurs. How embarrassing that would be for me.

Oh yes, wouldn't want some pro-insect protester to try to sue you, right?

We have had just a bug or two every once in a while. I bet the bugs I placed outside are cold right now. Oh well, I do hope they have a warm spot to spend some time.

I would have to transport it outside for its own safety. Scar would think it was a toy.

Yes, stink bugs have a medicinal smell to them. Not terribly unpleasant, but annoying.

If a protest results, I will go out there and try to convince them to leave. I will give each one a little sweater to wear. That should do it. It is cold out there right now.

You probably did it with good reason and the bugs are going to get benefited anyways. More than two bugs in the same house can be disastruous and each one on a more private space could the best move

No need for embarrassment, my friend! I escorted a huge, black spider from our main bathroom, into my side flower bed the other day. With the temps dipping into the 20s last night, I'm sure he's holding a king-sized grudge against me, at this time!

I found a stink bug in my tub yesterday and I sent him on a cruise down the toilet. They totally creep me out and I had never even seen one until this year.

Those fire ants are nasty. A teaching colleague of mine has a second home in Texas, and she had to be rushed to the ER when she walked into a bunch of fire ants. As for scorpions, no way do we want to encounter those!!

@Corbin5 I've been bitten so many times by the ants to where I looked like I had Measles all over my body. After awhile you build up an immunity to the poison.

We are still having a few tiny beetles around the dogs dishes. At least it's not a lot. And spiders I don't like at all.

Hopefully, soon the bugs will go underground for the winter, or wherever bugs go for the winter outdoors.
