Thought i lost it

Hello friends..
Yesterday after reaching home i noticed that my watch is missing. I keep my watch in bag sometimes , i searched but it's not there.
So thought if by any chance i forgot in office drawer. Today when i got into the cab, the cab driver came with a smile and asked is this your watch..i sit in the same place every day.
I said yes. I asked him where did he get, he said it was on the seat where i sit and he got it in the morning while cleaning..
I said thank you..i thought it was lost..

i thought my belt was missing. i was surprised to find it with my dirty laundry. i can't remember putting it there.
like you, i still wear a watch. when we see the same people every day, we become familiar with their habits and their things.

Nice you found it. It's our office cab , it picks staff from our area . So we know the cab driver very well. The cab driver is very nice person.

Do you take the same cab everyday? Interesting. Maybe we have a different system of cabs here but I find it extremely lucky for one to get the same cab two days in a row.
In any case, I don't wear a watch anymore. I used to. But because of the nature of my job before, I had to not wear it for long periods of time, and my watch then was one of those kinetic types instead of run by batteries, so when not wearing it for prolonged periods, it would stop. I opted to use phones as my timekeeper instead.

It's officie cab.. meant only for our department and the cab is only for our area too. So yes i take the same cab everyday. I wear my watch every day.

That was an honest cab driver. I will always ride at him because he is trusted one. Not all the time you can see like him.

It is good to know that you got your watch back. The cab driver was a good and honest person. Hardly we find such people these days.
Some people do not return it back. They keep it for themselves. It is not a good habit. If we know that it does not belong to us, we must not take it.If we know who is the owner of the particular thing, we must definitely return it back.

Heartwarming story I am reading and this is the second one I have read today and that was really nice of him to be so honest and kindhearted too.
