while i was watching this clip from a show, it talked about a mother who has lost 2 sons from the same disease (liver cancer). And now here youngest also has the same illness. Unfortunately after a long fight, the youngest also died.. so in the end she lost all 3 sons from. I can't even imagine how she feels after that. It is quite admirable that she still remains strong after all that has happened.
Wala nang mas sasakit pa para sa isang ina kundi ang makitang isa-isang namamatay ang kaniyang mga anak. Sa pagpanaw ng kaniyang bunso na si Hisham dahil sa ...

maybe the mother is the carrier of the illness.

why is the mother carrier? maybe it's in the genes?

Maybe the Dad was the carrier. Who knows the gene could have skipped a generation.

@Letranknight2015 it is in the genes, whether the father or the mother. if hereditary, either one of the parents have that in the genes. the mother can be the carrier; hence, the genes is in her. we have the dominant and the recessive genes, so if the grandparents have that, then it skipped the parents of the deceased.

My goodness. How awful. The doctor should do some testing and see if they have the disease. I think now days there are things that can be done.

I think our facilities here are still lacking, but they did check it abroad when the youngest had the illness, but by then it was too late

It was a terrible story. I don't know how my mom would handled it if all three of us children of hers die.

This is a terrible story, I wonder if it was a genetic disease transmissible in the line of her family.

it could be, since all of them had the same disease

@lady1993 This is what I think, there is a transmittable disease in the family.

It is really very sad to know that she lost both her sons. She has to be very strong to face anything. May God give her the strength to face the loss.
