Few months ago NBA star Kyrie Irving claimed that the earth is flat. I thought he was kidding; but he is not. Mr. Irving really believes that the earth is flat! I read an article today that a 61-year-old man from California (USA) by the name – Mike Hughes – built a rocket to launch himself 1800 feet high on Saturday to prove that the earth is flat. This project is sponsored by Research Flat Earth, a group that believes the Earth is flat. Mr.Hughes believes that the earth is flat and he is going to disprove astronauts’ claim that the earth is a ball or round. Since the inauguration of President Trump, more and more people are going crazy! They believe that the earth is flat like a pizza. Whew!

Sounds like they are just after some media attention.. Now that Trump is President, people aren't afraid to reveal their strange ideas.

@Madshadi Hmmm, let us say the earth is flat - - - Who are at the top and who are at the bottom? Maybe Asians are at the bottom . . and Europe and the Americas on top. Nah, this is stupid theory. The earth is round!

So I guess we'll have to wait and see what Mr. Hughes has to say when he comes back from his rocket ride.
