I don´t know when it is Thanksgiving in the US nor when is it in Canada. I thought they were in the same date every year, but now it seems that every holiday has been changed so that people can have a longer week end.
Anyway, just in case I find people here, I´ll read and write for all the time I didn´t do it while my grandchildren were around.
Can you explain to me the dates of these holidays?

Thanksgiving is the 4th Thursday of November. So that days date changes every year. But we've always had a 5 day weekend for it. Wed-Sun.

So you are already in Thanksgiving? Or will it be next Thursday?

We celebrate the day Columbus arrived in America, although it looks that we will be celebrating that date each year a little bit less.

@TheInvisibleMan I read and commented your post. We don´t celebrate Thanksgiving in my country.
