Well Happy Birthday to you daughter and may all her best wishes come true. There was no Thanksgiving here but since I am from the states I always miss this holiday. So as usual I count my blessings. Waking up to another day, being healthy and being able to function and live my life.

My Thanksgiving blessings were, no drama at my sister's yesterday. I got there and back without any problem, though on the way home I really thought I would fall asleep at the wheel, so started singing along with the radio as loud as I could, it helped. I arrived home safe.

My family has a few December birthdays. My sister had her daughter on her birthday Dec 19th. My brother's b-day is Dec 4th. It is special to have b-day's during the holiday season.

@GardenGerty Yes, my Mom was a big influence on our family when it came to the Christmas and Thanksgiving seasons. We definitely appreciate the festive side to each holiday!
