*NETFLIX* streams -MARVEL's Agents of Shield- (a TV-show about the black-ops agency that protects the world from supernatural threats in a post-'Battle of New York City' universe where we can't always count on the 'Avengers Initiative' to save the day ) In the third season, we learn ... (SPOILER ALERT if you haven't seen-the first MARVEL's Avengers movie or -enough of the first two seasons to know enough background) http://awesomeonward.blogspot.com/2017/11/marvels-agentsofshield-ruins-andor.html ... that S.H.I.E.L.D.'s opponent "Hydra" is actually rooted in an ancient cult formed around the worship of a 'super-human' named Hive--actually Alveus, Latin for "hollow vessel"--whom other super-humans exiled to another planet when he became too powerful. (The show calls them "inhumans" since a) they're not all 'good guys,' b) ...what we learn about their beginnings ... & c) probably something about DC owning the trademark on the word "superhero.") We also learn that the 'super-humans' are actually the latest in the lineage of ancient ancestors whom an alien race called Kree infected with their alien DNA. What I've seen so-far: Hive is 'the being upon whom most religions' "devils" are based.' When Hydra finally managed to bring him back to Earth (because they believed he was going to give them high-positions in his kingdom), he of course turned against them and began building an army of super-humans. He enchanted the super-humans by making them believe that they were a part of him and that every sacrifice they made for him was 'to make their family's kingdom better.' Echoes?

Oh, I know it is.(I said so on the blog at the blog-address ) But I also know that The Bible was written by humans. Oh, Christians will say "it was inspired by God! " But who's to say it wasn't the Devil inspiring people to call him "God"?
