Can't Believe It

I can't believe it. I used to do my exercise session quite a few decades ago, dancing on that tune. I just loved to follow the beat, sometimes for 30 minutes without stopping at all. It used to make me feel so alive! Now, all I can do with that music is to walk moderately. Still love it though! Patti LaBelle - Stir It Up (1985) Beverly Hills? Cop - Soundtrack

You are so right - that tune makes you want to get up and move.

@Happy2BeMe , But you do walking a lot. Do you find that you have difficulty with your breathing since the surgery?

@Juliaacv Why does life has to be so short? We have so much that we still want to do.

Wasn't it exciting and wonderful when we could do all the stuff that we could do then?

@marlina wouldn't it be nice to be able to go back in time and enjoy it once again even for a day

Yes, I agree, but I am only walking moderately and not enough, only when I feel strong enough. I sure miss those days!

we expect that our muscles get tired of active exercises as we age. brisk walking is better for us who are above 45 years old.

@marlina the tendency is when we reach the age of 45-50, we feel muscle pain due to sedentary activities.

Thanks for sharing the song! I've been trying to find a few more songs to add to my rotation when working out. So far my baby loves "I got this feeling" and "purple eater" song!

@marlina A live band played it at a halloween event we went to. My daughter flipped out and started dancing like crazy. So now its part of the daily rotation of songs for when I'm trying to work out!

I'm sure you had your time. I have two friends, they are sisters and they're in their early 60s and could dance better than me. And I'm just 39.

It's a good one. I used to have an entire tape of music I did my exercises and house cleaning to.All with up beat beats.
