Old iPhone

I still use an old iPhone 5s, a hand-me-down from my fiancé. I always get some comments from acquaintances on how I can afford to buy this or that and yet I am skimping on a phone. For me, I do not see anything wrong with not using the latest gadgets. For me as long as it still works and it serves its purpose well, I see no reason why I should upgrade into a newer model. If my fiancé upgrades his phone, then I will get his iPhone 6. I do not mind nor I am ashamed of using an older model of phone. I am not very particular about it and I also do not judge people based n their stuff. I am confident with my trusty and old iPhone 5s. It still works and suits me just fine. It will not make me less of a person if I do not have the latest in everything.

When we get a cell phone we use it for as long as we can. I do not care if it becomes outdated or not as long as it works.

Same for me. The only reasons I would change phones is when it gets broken and when my fiancé passed me his old one.

My fiancé got a hand me down from me as well. He didn't mind nor complain, but yesterday he decided to upgrade from the 5S to iPhone X. He keeps his phones for quite a long time and it great conditions so it's fine. I have the iPhone 7 Plus, I bought it earlier this year and already the iPhone 8 & iPhone X has come out. Technology always comes out but I'll stick to this phone until I like a phone. The 8 Plus is almost the same and the iPhone X I don't like the camera (the color saturation)
