Hello mylotter Family! Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening Snow started here yesterday and it`s driving me crazy but don`t worry I´m not going to ruined your days I`ll be just sharing one of my favorite singer whom I admired so much on how she delivers it in her every song Ok. Just to clear things. Don`t ever think that I`m a good singer but believe it or not I`m a good judge and a frustrated singer If you don`t believe me, Then I`m not Seriously, I love the songs of the following: 1. Love me for what I am 2. Close to you 3. Only Yesterday 4. Rainy on Mondays 5. Top of the World (I`m kind of singing this most of the time on parties with friends and families ) How about you? Do you particularly have a singer in mind that inspires you to love music even you can`t sing? or loving their way delivering it? or the meaning? Photo from ioffer.com (google)

Carpenters have same timbre as anne murray. So husky altos and easy to sing-along. Especially the lullabye-genre songs they made.

@m_audrey6788 my wife always sing "just another woman inlove" and because of repetition, I had memorized it without knowing. Also, the "you needed me" lullabye and the one of our theme song "I just fall inlove again". Pretty easy to sing.

I really enjoy their music when I am in the mood for some Easy Listening tunes. In The Carpenters songs it is the delivery. Karen sings like an Angel And Richard is a masterful composer! Put those two together and you have a beautiful song delivered perfectly...

@dgobucks226 It depends on my mood If I`m kind of lonely more songs from R&B or love songs and if I`m happy or in a jolly mood then I usually listens to slow rock sounds no particular band

Yup. I love Carpenters. That soothing voice will definitely make you want to listen more. But I have one song that inspires me a lot whenever I lost confidence in myself. It's a song from Miley Cyrus, "The Climb".
