Thinking about a new hobby, try this one

It was a few months ago when I took this photo. I was walking through a store when I saw it. Instantly, I flashed back to 7th grade and the time I learned how to do this. I'm not sure what happened to the piece I made and brought home to my mom, but I do remember I enjoyed learning this interesting craft.
I was thinking about starting it back up. Maybe making a 4' x 2 1/2' landscape. Possibly something with a lake and trees. Maybe take one of the many photos I have and duplicating a city scene.
With the year coming to an end and folks thinking about new beginnings, maybe this is a hobby for you.

It just takes a little patience putting the nails in place, after that string away!

@shubhu3 One could probably make these and even sell them on ebay if they like doing that sort of thing. These were selling for $8 to $12 and they were very simple looking ones. Just imagine if someone made a more complex one and sold it for $20 maybe $25.

Never did string art in school although I learned it during an arts and craft session back in the day.

I'm sure you could find the supplies at any craft store. And many craft stores sell booklets filled with ideas of so many crafts.

I remember doing artwork like that in school! But I think we stuck mainly to geometric shapes, instead of actually trying to do artwork. Which was fine by me, because I am not exactly a creative person! haha
