Sleeping with wet hair.

November 27, 2017 9:57am CST
Is it really bad sleeping with wet hair? Or it is just a myth? I just finished taking shower and i feel so sleepy and wanted to sleep now. But my husband said that it is bad to sleep with wet hair. That is why i am doing mylot for now to let my hair dry. But i am now sleepy really.

damp hair might be ok on a warm day but ringing wet would mess up the bedding / pillows and if it's cold you could catch a chill

I grew up believing that sleeping with damp hair is not good as it will gives you a bad headache the next day but due to findings base on my discussions that it has no effect to others but it just the uncomfortable feelings sleeping with damp hair that bothers most of them

Sounds like hocus pocus to me. The only argument against it is in my opinion that the pillow becomes wet and who wants to sleep on a wet pillow?

Yeah, and i guess that is also the cause why some woke up with a bad cough but not really because of the wet hair. It is because of the wet pillow haha lol

It's okay for me.

I guess as long as once hair is not that long then there will be no problem catching a flu or cough thou.

I always go to bed with wet hair it doesn’t hurt anything. The only thing is my wooden headboard is ruining from the wet hair against it all the time.

I think it's an old wives tale, but I wouldn't like to get my pillow wet. Besides, with my hair, I'd look like a monster in the morning. lol

I have short hair so drying it doesn't take up too much time. I also don't like to lie in bed with wet hair, it feels uncomfortable for me.
