We have an old age home close by and I have decided to invite them over for a Christmas party. There are around 35 of them and a couple of them are in wheel chair Yesterday the Nun who takes care of them told me that even they want to come. The party theme will be no different from what I usually have for kids. What say? The only difference is that I will have to cut down on sweets for them. I am told most are diabetics

@allknowing Are you going to make all the food? Will you have some help with the plans and the party itself?

@much2say Food is ordered. The caterers will come with their paraphernalia. Planning for the party I love to do.

@allknowing where will it be held? I'm curious where wondering how 35 people would fit in your home.

I've been wondering if you were going to have your kids party. This one will be quite a change. Will you have a theme?

The colour is blue. I have asked the caterers to get blue table cloth. There will be blue balloons and buntings. I have ordered for water balloons which they will burst in the garden - watering my plants. There will be games too for them and may be a 'miss veteran' contest. Planning is still on.

@valmnz They will be observed by some who will be chosen as judges throughout the party. You know how some seniors are quite moody and unpredictable. I have taken all that into account (lol)

Is this as well as a party for the children, or instead of? Whichever, you have a good heart.

This is a new experience. Knowing how some oldies could be cantankerous that could spoil the show

I am at a planning stage and having fun because it is so different from the parties I have organised for kids. For example their gifts used to be toys and stuff but here I just picked up a few loofah bathing brushes with long handles, face towels and stuff (lol)
