Almost Finished Writing My Christmas Cards

One of the tasks I set for myself was to do my Christmas cards this past weekend. I am almost finished. I am waiting for my holiday return address labels to be delivered. I had to get some addresses since several family members and friends have moved since last year.
I put up my two fiber optic trees, I have my holiday tablecloth in place and my wreaths on my fence and doors. My next task is to get all the gifts that I have so far into gift bags and to order the several gifts that I have delivered, delivered. I will need to bake some snickerdoodles for the church cookie sale and then except for planning my Christmas menu, I will be in pretty good shape for the upcoming holidays. I feel pretty relaxed at this point.

lol I'm not quite done yet and I do need to write a newsy letter for my cousin Barbara in England, she is always so good about updating me lol I think we are both winners.

@BelleStarr I usually include a newsletter to. Some of my friends and family don't have computers so have no clue what I am up to.

@BelleStarr I might feel more festive in the morning after I pick up my Christmas Tale from Staples. I write it, daughter illustrates then e-mails it to Staples. I love holding the silly mini books! Then it will be time to start writing addresses on manilla envelopes...

Thank you I like to relax and enjoy the season, I usually go to visit some nearby destinations to look at decorations but I can't do that til everything is all done at home. lol

I am waiting for my return labels to arrive and then I will mail them out. I do have some for out of country that need to be mailed early.

@BelleStarr My cards are all out of country, but it never takes more than one week, so I still wait a few days. I know that my friends do not like to receive the cards too early.

I don't send cards since I live in Canada, the postage is outrageous, I send email cards to my friends and family away in the states, my friends here get then hand delivered. We haven't started Christmas yet...

I love the holiday season, it is my favorite time of year and I hate that now for me it is cut short by going to Florida. I may just have to start decorating there lol

I am waiting for my return labels which I thought would be here this week, but won't be here until next week. I may send the Europe ones without the label.

UGH you reminded me I haven't done that yet. A new and exciting task for my hubby since he's retired lol. I have to plan when I am making Christmas cookies. My family expects them lol, I like them too.

@BelleStarr My mom always made snickerdoodles when I was a kid. My hubby and sons don't care for them so that's one I don't usually make. I like them though.
