Someone has OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)
November 28, 2017 6:20am CST
I live with someone who is very compulsive and anal. Everything must be just so. His name is Doodles the cat. Doodles is a creature of habit. Doodles won't eat breakfast until after his morning walk. After each walk, Doodles expects treats for being a good boy outside. After his breakfast, Doodles brings me either Mr. Goosie or Mr. Baby (pictured above) and expects a big thank you and a hug. Doodles naps after each walk, up to five times a day, listens to music, takes a pre bedtime nap after dinner, and wakes up as soon as he hears the TV clicked off at night. Doodles waits patiently as I gather Mr. Goosie and Mr. Baby and get his goodnight treats. Doodles must be carried upstairs in my arms, watching as one light goes on and this light goes off. Doodles expects to be deposited on my bed where I gently place Mr. Goosie and watches me place Mr. Baby in his special place on the floor. Doodles is fed one treat at a time, saving the final ones to brush his teeth. Doodles takes his bath, watches the news, and goes to sleep for the night at the foot of my bed. I often wonder who is OCD.

Cats...training hoomins since time immeasurable Scar has 'bedtime' figured out...when I turn off the lamp next to the computer, he heads right for it and waits for me. Of course, this also means if he goes and jumps on the bed, it is time for the hoomin to shut off the computer and the lamp.

Hahaha. Doodles is very well organised! And is happy he is so clearly understood, Dianne. Daisy also wakes when the tv is switched off at night and then she leads me to bed, then I have to give her a good night kiss and cuddle and then she settles on her bed. She also expects a treat after just about everything.

@bluesa He watches everything on TV. He even plays a mouse game on my iPad. My granddaughter tries to beat his score. lol I'm so relieved to hear that Miss Daisy is all healed. I hate it when animals suffer. You are a very good nurse and mommy!
Where's Doodles? This is the first time that I heard this disease if it's actually a disease - obsession compulsive disorder. And it's being manifested by your 9-year old cat, Doodles. I may guess that he's displayed such disorder because he knows he's well loved and overprotected. That's only my idea based on what you've exposed it here in your post.

I’m giggling over this spoiled cat! He has you wrapped around his paw! I have ocd and knew it was just you and your husband who live together so thought it was going to be him with the issues so this post gave me a wonderful chuckle picturing you catering to him so much.
