YUMM, that looks good. Kind of looks like fried chicken nuggets. Nope, it's frog!!! Would you consider this for Dinner? Or Frog legs and basil soup or a frog leg basil soup?

I had eaten frogs before. I will never gut or kill one on my own though. I am afraid of having warts from touching a live one. It is funny that I work on a sheep slaughter house but I cant kill frogs. I wont mind eating frogs but not kill them.

That's interesting. Never thought of the wart. Did you like the taste of the frog? was it fried frog? How does Fried frog and okra sound?

Not that I know much about frog cuisine, but I've never seen frog prepared like this! I suppose I would try it, but best not to tell me beforehand what it is .

@db20747 Nope - my husband did, but I'm not very adventurous where food is concerned. The only thing I did get converted to was the French Roquefort cheese - it's a strong blue cheese, and is delicious.

My fathers and uncles would go frog hunting(they had a raft and went to a pond) when I was young. I tasted it only once, because I can't seem to get their slimy looking skin out of my thoughts. It actually tasted like chicken.

What did they do with the frogs. Did they eat the day's catch?

@db20747 Yes, they fried the legs. I think it was only the legs, but I'm not sure.

Some years ago, I ate frog legs and they taste like chicken. These days, I am mostly vegetarian and I would eat the lily pad more than the frog.

The lily pad. I wonder how that would taste? Chicken is what a lot of people say they taste like. But I still don't know if I want to go there into the adventurous world of frog for dinner.

Not a fan of frog legs but chicken sounds delicious. There's all sorts of ways to cook chicken perhaps that's what we'll have tonight.

I immediately noticed that those are frog legs, when we lived in France they were very popular. Fried they are good, I would not consider them in a soup.

I have never eaten frog, but would probably try it. I would rather not have deep fried though.
