Earlier I was thinking about what to do today, whether to head off to work or to work on the homestead or do housework, So what did I end up doing for 2 1/2 hours?
Tony went to help his uncle and then went hunting so since I did not have a sidekick today I chose........
The backyard, I have half of the area cleaned now, no more brush and raked clean. I let the dogs out of their area and they played while I worked but they were often underfoot or just walked by to lick me and keep going. Sometimes smelling my pocket for a treat.
I also took the dogs on 2 walks today around the fields.
When I was finished and putting up all the working tools the cat found me and knew it was his turn.
We walked to the front deck and I let him molest my arm and back while I sat taking a break. Before heading in the house I have him a generous portion of food, I opened a new bad and its ocean fish, his favorite.
I feel like I accomplished a lot today, and while I was working dinner was cooking, slow on the stove top. I would check it when taking a bathroom break.

As it was close to 60 degrees here, highly unusual for the Chicago are this time of year, hubby and I went fishing. We fished for about 3 hours and had a great time.

You really got alot done today, good for you Andria! Whenever I work out in the back yard, Kobe drives me crazy! I have to keep throwing a ball, then continue whatever I'm trying to get done.

Wow, I went to Walmart and had the oil changed, then went for a walk at a favorite nearby park. Then took my grandchildren to buy some Christmas stuff. Mine seems a little insignificant compared to your day.

This was Monday? We hung out, but did do a bit of cleaning, but only a little was needed. We keep it so clean that the housekeeper's don't even bother coming in. They just give us what we need and move on.
