Patty Jenkins who directed the blockbuster movie "Wonder Woman" this past summer is a candidate for getting Time magazine "Person Of The Year." Of course since Jenkins is female and the movie she directed made her a superstar director in the entertainment industry which saved the D C E U. However the editors at Time magazine will decide who gets to be on the cover of Time Magazine on the December 6 issue.

And there are no other better female candidates like say a doctor or scientist really contributing to society?

Good question since Patty is the only filmmaker that is a candidate to win the award from Time magazine.

The fact that the Wonder Woman movie made a lot of money for Warner Brothers studios not to mention that Patty is one of the successful directors in an male dominated field.
