I brought this book in a box of books that I brought from an auction recently. It is an interesting book to read and to look at with lots of lovely illustrations from popular children`s books . Many of the illustrations come from the sort of books that I would read as a child . Do you remember the sort of books that you would read , or have read to you as a child?

How many books do you have in your collection, or are there too many to count?

@millie02 I can't count them right now. They are all in the boxes. We are planning to move out in our family house.

@millie02 The Hardy Boys were teen brothers who solved mysteries and crimes.

@millie02 Same with any other book, you have to write it and with children's books if you want illustration you have to draw it yourself or find an illustrator haha

@DesirousDreamer I am no good at drawing, I would have to invent my own style of artwork and hope that people like it.

Yes I do remember them - and I still have most of them! My favourites are still Winnie the Pooh and The Wind in the Willows though.

I loved the Uncle books, sadly out of print. Never had a problem with elephants owning property or being king
