"Is the world out of control?" That is the title of the cover article of Awake magazine that Jehovah's Witnesses will be distributing in the month of December all around the world? The article gives 4 reasons for the concern: 1) Weapons of mass destruction 2) Our health under siege 3) Human attacks on nature 4) Nature's attack on humans Are you concerned about the future? What are your thoughts?
Some believe in an inevitable doomsday. Others believe in a bright future. Where can we turn for answers to questions about world conditions and the future?

Yes, it is getting worse and we pray that God will soon step in and solve the problems that man can't seem to solve.

Considering the current circumstances, I have mixed feelings about the future. But just because things are bad now, it doesn't mean they could not be better. We can't afford to keep worrying about things beyond our control.

I don't think the world is any crazier than it used to be, we are just more aware of it.

Many people think like that but we now have nuclear bombs and the danger that some country might launch one is getting more and more serious.

It might seem strange, but I'm not at all concerned about the future. God's got me covered.

I know that you love God's Word as I do and I find Luke 21:34-36 sobering.

@1hopefulman If you live your life in such a way as to be shown to have good moral character, you won't have anything to worry about from those verses.

I have a suspicion that the world is more or less the same but as April mentioned previously, we are just more aware of things these days.

The good news is that the Bible predicted these situations and showed that these signs would encourage us in that it would lead to God stepping in and setting up his kingdom and ruling the earth in justice, fairness and righteousness. So there is a bright future coming soon.

I am concern about the new generation. By the way, my cousin in Canada is sending me magazines that I can read. My grandfather was getting monthly magazines when he was still alive in Pangasinan.

Hurricanes, forest fires, floods often kill many people.
