An old maroon hot air balloon

Okay, it isn't maroon, but I adore Owl City so I had to make the song reference!
My mom went out to check the mail and she came in saying, "you left too soon, there is a hot air balloon flying over grandma's house."
And I look out my window and see this big ol dude flying so close that I had to take a picture!
And I was taking a few shots and then I saw the center ignite and I was like....I need that picture, and finally got one.
Soon after it started flying back up so I was happy I was able to get the shots I did.
I love hot air balloons so much!

We have a hot air balloon festival here in the summer. It is so cool to wake up early and see dozens of all different balloons in the air.

That's so cool. Every once in awhile, I see the Good Year blimp fly over my neighborhood. I think te last time I saw it was this summer on a clear afternoon.

we get those around here at times, I love looking at them because I got some history with good year blimps. My great grandma was one of the ladys that work on the first good year blimp!
