Can you just let unfairness go?

I’ve been busy with my athletes credentials and all, I had to get their birth certificates, accompany them to the doctor and the dentist, and get the credentials checked...not to mention the time I had to allocate for their practice...so yeah, I sacrificed a lot of effort and money to make sure they could go to the Provincial Sports Meet. And I did all that with no complaints... The unfairness I felt was from our District Sports Coordinator, the ruling is that the coach of the winning doubles would be the coach for the provincial meet, I was the coach of the doubles, and his friend from another school was the coach for the singles...on our first meeting he asked if I’m okay being the badminton coach, and I said yes, then our second meeting he told me that in the minutes of our meeting I agreed to be the assistant coach, but at the same note he flashed a slide from his powerpoint presentation that the badminton would not have assistant coaches, so naturally I raised the issue and because I won’t be going if I have no papers to support the legality of my being there. We’ll never know when accidents happen and that other teacher said okay, you’ll be the coach and I’ll give you the papers of my athlete... Then lo and behold! She passed her own folder containing her own credentials and that of her one athlete and she also had an assistant coach while me and the coach for the girls badminton team had no assistant coaches! The coach for the girls team had three athletes to look after and she had no one to help her, while I had two...and that other coach who was friends with our coordinator had only one athlete to look after and she had an assistant! We found this out 2 days before the time of our departure so then I asked our coordinator about it and his reply? “You’re the assistant to the girls team.” WTF!!!! I’m okay, and I really mean that, I would be okay to be an assistant coach, but seriously??? I was the one who faced the parents of the boys I was bringing to the event! And the even greater question is that why did they make that other teacher the assistant coach when he wasn’t a coach during our district meet?? And his answer for me to just turn over my athletes to the other two teachers was _ _ _ked up! I told him that I wouldn’t be able to do that and if he wants me to do it we’re going to be having w meeting with the district supervisor and walked away, the whole time I was in the venue he was nicer to me...but I am still unsettled...I guess I need more time to move on... I can’t even tell him off because it would make me look like the bad party...it’s frustrating!

I think you telling him that was good and maybe he will change his mind and things will work out better.

He won’t take responsibility for his mistakes, it wasn’t just me whose toes he stepped on...it’s not okay but it’s going to be...

It does seem extremely unfair, especially after all you did with taking everyone to the doctor. It feels as if they told you one thing and did another. I'm sorry, but maybe the district supervisor can help you.

it was but I chose to just let it go because it would be pointless to pursue the issue when he let it go, I think it’s what makes me feel unsettled because I wasn’t able to take the matter further...but coping here though
