Logic, like gravity, constipation and toothache, is vastly overrated, I'm shure you'll agree. Logic only ever holds true within the construct in which it operates, within its native country. This is why male and female logic differ, and why male and female persons view situations differently. This is also why relationships between men and women are often ridden with tension - each believes the other to be operating contrary to logic whereas the truth of the matter is that each is being faithful to the logic of their own gender-based construct.
