When anyone at our house wants sugar cookies, we always go and buy the Pillsbury ready to bake cookies.. never homemake them. But my cousin wanted homemade sugar cookies for the Christmas party, and asked if we could do it. So we told her we would attempt it.. Yeah.. bad idea, and never again. As this morning we attemped it, and first my mom made the cookies too thin, then she made some too thick.. and then the first batch of cookies had flour all over the bottom of them when they were done Thankfully the second batch looks alright, so we're going to bring them with us along with some chocolate chip cookies, and if noone wants the sugar ones or likes them.. so be it. Least we tried, and we brought something. Definitely sticking to our ready to bake cookies though!

I go with what I am comfortable with baking. I do not care to make sugar cookies, but would try them once or twice if they come out. However, if in a pinch I would go with the ready to bake cookies. They are easy, no fuss, and who doesn't like that? They are tasty too.

done better then I would these days. I used to bake excellent cookies way back 30 some years ago. these days my daughter sometimes buys the already to bake ones of which I seldom eat much. too greasy but they like them. I like buying the Archway and some Keebler already baked and packaged.
