One of the Boston Terriers I had as a kid could not breath if picked up and laid back in our arms like a baby. A girl I know spend $3000 recently on surgery to fix her Boston Terriers nasal passages due to it having such a smooshed in nose.

French Bulldogs are often bred because they are an expensive and valuable breed. LOts of people do it to make quick cash, but it should be all about the passion for the breed.

@amadeo personally I would learn about the breed first before making such a decision. it shounds like greed to me.

They are my sisters favorite breed of dogs. My father wasn’t very nice to the animals he had so as long as she lives with him she should never get one.

They are normally called Frenchies and are believed to be a cross of English bulldogs with their French counterparts. They are extremely playful so it is a good choice if you have kids or if you want an active dog.

Don't really know much about them, they are so cute though. I do agree about the breathing issues, I have heard that about them.

He needs to read up on this dogs health issues @amadeo .
And as far as breeding goes; he doesn't need to add to the problem in this country.
