Questions For Today- Favorite Charity

Now that we are entering the holiday season many charitable organizations look for donations. You many notice these charities when you shop in stores or you may receive something in the mail. Which leads me to my questions for today.
1. Do you have a favorite charity you donate to?
2. Is there any special reason why you donate to that organization?

I don’t donate to any charities at all. We have this group of friends that help people with diseases for free. They don’t accept any form of payment or donation at all. Not even a single cent. They said If I want to help, I should just tell other sick people about them.

A charitable act such as helping those in need is charity in my opinion. You can place no monetary value on something so thoughtful.
I like this quote from Emanuel Swedenborg about charity. "True charity is the desire to be useful to others with no thought of recompense."

Those are very worthy organizations to donate to. I have also donated to animal organizations like ASPCA. One of my other charities I donate to is Goodwill.

We usually donate to either The Salvation Army or the Animal Shelter. Why? Because they have such great programs her in my community.

I have a friend that used to do the same thing for Muscular Dystrophy. It was an all-day ride from the top to the bottom of New Jersey. That using some leg power for a worthy causes! Good for you

Toys for Tots is a great organization, they take new toys and give them to poor children:) St. Jude's Hospital is another worthy cause, for children with cancer or other critical diseases.

Yes, I too always donate to the Salvation Army. They have volunteers outside the stores collecting every year.

I support Samaritan's Purse which is associated with Billy Graham. I believe they provide aid in many ways.

Sounds like a very noble charity to donate to. The kindness of religious groups should never be underestimated. They do so much good for others.

Autism is a wonderful cause to donate to! Helping children in their fight with cancer by donating to St. Jude's is an excellent choice.
