In today's world of modern technology and invention we often use credit card/ATM in most of our financial/economic transactions. But before the coming of credit card/ATM we use to pay cash in our purchases and other related financial/economic transaction or activities. For indeed cash is king back then! Do you still pay or use cash/coins in your financial/economic transaction today? Picture credit: thebalance.com

@hereandthere Yes that's right my friend and you don't want to give away your credit card to the carolers but only cash!

Yes, I do. I don't bring with me my debit card so I won't be tempted to withdraw anytime I want or use it for my transactions. Just enough bills and coins so I could monitor my expenses.

@mandala100 It's a heck of a lot easier buying online from Walmart than going in the store.

I still prefer to use cash as that way, I have a far better sense of control over what I'm spending. When it comes to ATM machines, I'll only ever use one that is inside of a bank as those placed outside of banks I feel are obvious targets for thieves/muggers.

I'm poor. I have no bank account. For my "small" purchases, I still use Euro-cash!

I barely use small coins, but I usually ignore the smaller coins or sometimes I collect and exchange them to the bank

We use our credit cards as much as possible for the rewards. They cover fraudulent activities if need be.

I use cash for the majority of purchases. I only pay with my debit card when either purchasing online or buying a large item.

Actually here we seldom use the cash or coins. I haven't withdrawn cash for a long time. Even people don't use credit card so much. People tend to use either Wechat pay or Alipay much more. Even if a street vendor or the market sellers welcome to receive payment from Wechat pay and Alipay. It gives all of us a lot of convenience.
