Do you think Terrorist copy what they do in movies?

I am currently watching this movie entitled American Assassins and I have no idea what is this movie all about because I'm not half way yet. This makes me think that most of the movies are all about terrorist coming from Islam countries. If you remember they are a lot of instances of a terrorist attack in some countries and even here in the Philippines. We have the Marawi Siege 2 months ago, it was said that Terrorist from other countries is the main people of the war. We are thankful now it was over. Now, it gets me wonder. What if this Terrorist copied what they saw in movies or is it the other way around? PS. Please don't get me wrong. It's just only a discussion and I have no issue with Islam.

Yes, in my opinion media play a great role in this, on the other hand and I know that you have no issue with Islam, but why people connect the word "Terrorism" with Islam, terrorism maybe done by individuals, countries, groups, organizations, etc.. it may be economical terrorism also, why when a non-Muslim kills 200 human, they say it's a crime, and when a Muslim do so, they say it's a terrorist attack!!, the answer is "Media".

I agree with you. Fake news committed by Media is undeniably the cause of all these. I mean, aside from movies Media plays a big role in the world because that can easily spread through Television and Social media.

That's an interesting question. Oscar Wilde said that life imitates art far more than art imitates life. Is Hollywood a guilty party to terrorists?

i believe the TV series like probinsyano, should not show the tactics of the military because the real police might do, and the villains will also counteract. hahaha!

I think many would-be criminals copy what others have done before them.
