Got some sous vide tips

I just got to speak to my friend the chef here at our usual hangout. He’s been telling me for months to get a sous vide immersion circulator. Now I have the same one that he has which he said is the best one available. He told me how to make striped bass and steak so that will be what I make this week or next. My husband is even excited to see how it turns out. Stay tuned!

Is this a special sort of circulator oven? I never heard of this. My friend is always trying to get me to use a convection oven..He is big into these alternative cooking gadgets.
