Got the carpet and ohh was it fun! Pfftt

The shopping went alright, we had to get a 12 feet by 21 feet rug, got it loaded on the vehicle via some help from 2 nice guys. Now getting it into the house, up the stairs and into her room, I never want to do that again! So sore and in pain, pulled a muscle, trying to get it turned and up and then down. That landing was a pain in the butt! But it is in there and next weekend hubby will get it laid. Now I'm just tired. LOL! How was your day?

I'm sure she will love having a new rug in her room:) Taking a large rug upstairs, I did that once! It was awful:(

Yes me too, I don't know why it didn't dawn on me when it took 3 grown men to get it up the vehicle how hard it would be for hubby and me to get it up the stairs. Worse was the length of it thou. But we did it.

I have done both .. hate sheet rock hanging but would gladly have done that over this carpet. Just the 2 of us for a carpet that was about 200 pounds and 21 feet long. The landing and set up of the rooms up there was not made for that...lol

That's a heavy load. You should have left it downstairs and wait for your husband to lend a hand. Take care of that pulled muscle.

Oh he did, there is no way I could do it alone, took 3 guys to move it onto the vehicle as it was. Weighed around 200 pounds but the worse was the 21 feet long.

That was a lot of work. Lifting a rug that heavy up the stairs is surely not fun. Get some rest!

It wasnt fun at all, the worse was the length of the thing. It is up there thou, we won, it lost! LOL!

I hope you will feel better after resting. Carpets are very heavy and my father used to do the moving for us. We don't use carpets nowadays. I miss them though. My day is going on well. I had to visit the library.

Yes this one was about 200 pounds and so long, 21 feet long. It was me and hubby what a pain to get it up the stairs and then try to get it in the room. Took us about 2 hours or so but we did it! lol Glad you had a good day.
