Perhaps you know that the movie Mulan's actress is chosen as Liu Yifei. She is young and pretty.
However, many Chinese think Lucy Liu may be a suitable candidate for this character. She is not pretty in Chinese's eyes. But the carton movie Mulan is just drawn according to Lucy Liu. Since she is not pretty but she is tough, she may suit Mulan much more. But perhaps she didn't get this character at last due to her age? Anyway, she doesn't look like 49 years old
