Something we can't a thing about. Does it cause you to run under the covers. Shut the blinds or hide in your closet? We don't get it that often but I will get up and shut my blinds. The last time I was truly scared so Iaid in bed crying.

I don't mind as long as I am awake. Sleeping it frightens the life out of me. I sleep in the pitch dark. I can't even turn the light on to pee at a night. I like darkness. B likes the light off but he will use it for the bathroom. it wakes me instantly.

@sharon6345 I have to have complete darkness when I sleep too. A light is just too distracting.

I don't like thunder at night because it keeps me awake.

Thunder doesn't scare me. It is the lightning which does. I used to be scared of thunder when I was a kid but not anymore. The lightning is scary because you never know when it will hit next.

It is a natural phenomenon. However, when it occurs we stay protected.
