At least for hubby things are getting back to normal. He is working on taking care of all the cars. Tonight someone is coming to help him bleed the brakes on one. He is back at work as well. This is a good thing, all the way around.

Some people think normal is greatly over rated, but I enjoy the comfort of it.

It helps a lot. He still has some restrictions, but his mind is clear and he is enjoying seeing the people at work.

What does 'bleed the brakes' mean, please?

Anytime you change your brake pads you need to bleed the lines to make sure there is no air in the lines. I spent many hours in the garage with my Dad and brother doing maintenance on our cars and Dad restored antique cars.

@Dena91 you explained it much better than I would have. My first memory of helping anyone bleed the brakes I must have been eight years old and Dad was working on one of those old green Ford pick up trucks from the early fifties.

Honey and lemon with hot tea @GardenGerty for me it would include a wee bit of bourbon, usually works plus I'd feel no pain
