Who would thought that the 2017 New York Giants football season would be so awful, "How awful was it?" that they are in last place in the National Football Conference Standings at 2-10. To make the football season hit a sour note was the controversial decision to sit down their starting quarterback Eli Manning on Sunday before the road game versus the Oakland Raiders by having Geno Smith replace Manning. The outrage from the sports media was heard around the sports world as former Giants head coach Bob McAdoo decided to go with Smith instead of rookie quarterback Davis Webb start since the Giants are out of the playoff hunt. The news came on Monday that McAdoo and Giants general manager Jerry Reese. Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will be the interim head coach of the Giants for the remainder of the current football season. Kevin Abrams will be the interim general manager of the Giants. It is likely that Eli will get his starting quarterback job next Sunday when the Giants will host their arch rival the Dallas Cowboys. From Super Bowl contender in 2016 to a sour note in 2017 to the soap opera "As The Football World Turns" for the Giants football team.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Eli come to Denver next season, honestly.

It would a great move since his older brother finished his career with a Super Bowl ring,
