Unfrozen Creek

Ah, yes, today was supposed to have a high in the low 30's, with a bitter wind chill
Instead, it's a nice, sunny day with a slight breeze. It was cold last night, however, enough that it froze parts of the creek behind us.
By the time I got my phone, the ice had all been melted by the sun.
So here's a photo of the creek, sans ice.

@teamfreak16 We get a few days with frost but that's about it for cold. I now know not to complain about our 'cold' as it is nothing to what some myLotters experience.

@JudyEv - Places like Minnesota, Michigan, East Coast, they all have very bad, cold winters.

We have a lake in our town which usually freezes over in January. One time I saw these kids walk out onto the ice and fall into the lake. Fortunately for them it was only waist deep, but those kids had to be cold!

@teamfreak16 I could say the same, but a bit backwards. I lived here so long that I'm used to the heat . . . but I would love gray, gloomy cooler days year round.

How lovely to have that near your home--It looks like a good spot to fish. Those weather people, or should I say computers, get it wrong a lot.
