Are You Giving Gift Or Expecting Gift On Christmas Day?

"People making lists, buying special gifts, It's time to be kind to one and all. It's that time of year when good friends are dear, And you wish you could give more than just presents from a store." The above is the lyrics of the song "Give Love on Christmas Day" by the Jackson 5 which most of us are familiar with. Speaking of gift are you giving gift or expecting gift this Christmas? Do you think that giving gift on Christmas Day is still practical and relevant today? Picture credit: malleys.com

I already sent gifts and probably be receiving one too. Now to answer your second question, gifts aren't mandatory especially if you can't afford it. But if you like giving like I do then that is okay too.

No, we do not exchange gifts anymore, we are all adults, gifts are not the main purpose of Christmas. Being together to celebrate is important.

I am not sure if I will receive a gift this Christmas. I just have one god child and I will give her a gift. I don't have many money so I won't be giving lots of gifts for Christmas

For me, it's not, unless the gift is a need, like meds.

I will be giving many gifts on Christmas and be receiving some as well. I am more concerned with giving than receiving.
