My friend`s son in law always seems like such a nice chap and I mentioned this once to my friend. Her reply really took me by surprise because she said she had never been keen on him. I asked her why, and she told me that he gambles, and when he loses , he can be really nasty. Apparently he can sulk for days if he loses any money, and he makes life very difficult for his family. I wonder why some people are like this?

Perhaps he should try to give up gambling before it is too late.

This is too much for him. He loses everything on one fine day.

He will end up losing everything if he is not careful.

People are addicted to gamble. I also have a person in my family who gambles and have lost some good money on it but still doesn't take a lesson from it.

This is sad. It is the sort of problem that can cause worry for the whole family.

He should get help from Gamblers Anonymous. I've read that such groups exist formed after AA.

Yes, this does sound like a good idea. But sometimes people do not like to admit that they have a problem.

It does sound like he is addicted to gambling. Not gambling would make him easier to get along with, I believe.

I think he is a certified loser. I am sorry to say this.
