I’ve been seeing this headline for an hour now. There are reports of entire neighbourhoods feeling. I hope they are all safe. In the pictures it doesn’t look good at all.
Anyone here from California?
Firefighters tackling the blaze warn of the dangers of high winds as thousands evacuate their homes.

I am in LA where the fires are burning and it's a mess. The air outside is very smoky and some freeways are shut down causing traffic issues.

It is very scary, I know some people that are just 3 miles away from it, hopefully they don't have to evacuate but I also hope everyone stays safe.

@DesirousDreamer that is probably why there is no much fuss about it.

@Madshadi Fires happen a lot here up north, so we have to hear those tales a lot.

Southern CA myLotter here! We are not directly near the fires, but in our Valley we see smoke from all directions. Today is actually better in the sense that the wind has blown the smoke away visually - but I know the fires are still very much there. We are closest to the Skirball fire by the freeway . . . then the Creek/Sylmar . . . then the Rye that is north of that . . . and then in far off Ventura which still affects Hubby because he works just below that area. We are safe.
