Clumping along

Crazy sweet weather this afternoon. Green grass in December! I am not griping. Not me.
I put the dogs on stay! then headed the couple of blocks to the road to get the garbage back. (Garbage guys had dumped our garbage.) I got a bit away from the road and yelled Sally! Come! Leah! Come! Two bullets, one small and one larger, zipped down the driveway, headed my way. They got tons of play and good girls! for waiting for me on their stay! command.
I've also written a couple of good paragraphs down the story line.
And made a yam pie. The hens gave me two eggs for the yam custard yesterday. They gave me two more today so we'll have eggs in the morning.
Just a jolly, jingly good day. The roads are mostly clear in the morning and the days warming above freezing. I'm feeling pretty good as I wait for the time for my evening commute drive.

You are lucky to have greenery around. Here there are only tall buildings and greenery is to be seen. Except for Cement and concrete. I hate these surroundings. The roads are not good even for walk.

@shivamani10 I hope some day you will be able to live in a place that you like better. I don't walk much on the road near me, either cause it is narrow with huge trucks zooming by. I drive into town if I want to walk some where else besides my place.

The cold came here, not good, make me feel trapped, I will get used to it but not this week, calling for snow on Friday, yes on the coast

@andriaperry I wore my knitted cap but really did not need it. Now that the sun is down I will for sure want it. You could have snow? Interesting.

@NJChicaa Are you toward the mountains? So far we are enjoying dry weather so the frosty mornings are not messing up the roads too much. I hope we do not get freezing fog tomorrow morning. Not easy to breathe in these conditions but the roads are sweet!

It was in the 40s here today but it felt warmer. We have some really bad stuff heading our way, however.
